Daebu Island - The Gorgeous Natural Utopia

Daebu-do is an island near to Ansan.  Even if it is an island you don’t need to take a ferry as it is connected to the mainland by the Sihwa Embankment. From Seoul it will take you approximately 1 hour and a half to go there. during low tide, people can walk along the beach and mudflat.

The island might not as popular as jeju and quite remote but it worth to visit the natural scenery is so pretty and the local people are so nice and warm they somehow reminds me to the korean concept of jeong. This island were famous for its nature based experience like salt producing experience, catch seashells, mudcrabs, and of course walking and hiking. If you coming here try the  Daebudo- Haesonggil 74-km trail divided in to 7 part walking trails. The sections itself aren't too steep or  too challenging so it can be enjoyed by young and old. For the guide map you can see it from here.

There is a bridge that connects to the gubongdo island and forest trail that will leads to the Gubongdo Sunset observatory, to enjoy seeing the sunset.  Another place that you dont want to miss is the Sihwa Narae Observatory, sadly we dont have much time due to the mesmerizing sunset view and well too hungry for not thinking anything other than food kkk

Beautiful sunset of the day
This island also famous of its rock festival and grape festival, and well it not just a bluff the grapes are so juicy and sweet thanks for our manager who has managed to bought it for us.. kkk

For dinner we went to korean mat jib 맛집 it literally means tasty house or restaurant  called Kkamang Jogae Iyagi 까망조개이야기 which is so popular for their grilled clams among korean.

How to get there?
